Here is my review of Black Label:

The melodies linger and the whole album leaves a powerful mark on my mind but songs 2, 3, and 4 seem to have a towline straight to my spirit.

Colt in the Sun is dark, villainous, keen. You captured it perfectly.

Right Through Me---this song reaches to my wounded core.
I dig it.

Demon---these lyrics are serious, genuine, valiant.
The visualization of you conquering your demons, kicking them out of your life with the power of your inner superhero Jesus, causes me to holler and smile each time
I hear it. Forget the dark knight; this is what kicking the ass of the dark side is all about. It's a fight to the death and darkness is going down. Here comes the sun.

This is one songwriter who penetrates hearts. He was christened Pierce. How prophetic, how apropos.

When I shook Pierce's hand, it was like Dylan meeting Johnny Cash that first time. "Yeah" was all Dylan could say. "I love your voice" was all I could think to say.

Wow. Formidable.
